Mission Statement
"We are a worshipping community, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to share Christ with everyone."
What we Believe
Chris is the Habermann Chair and an Assistant Professor of Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon University. He directs the Future Interfaces Group, broadly investigating novel sensing technologies and interaction techniques, especially those that empower people to interact with “small devices in big ways.”
Christoph Römhild sent Chris his interesting biblical cross-references data set. This led to the first of three visualizations. Intrigued by the complexity of the Bible, Chris derived a new data set by parsing the King James Bible and extracting people and places. One of the resulting visualizations is a biblical social network. The other visualization shows how people and places are distributed throughout the text.
