DESCRIPTION:We will be hosting an SU Sports Day Camp this summer, a week
-long event kids won’t soon forget! Early discount ava
ilable: Access Registration for Sports Camp Fun, affordable 
and "Every Kid Can Play"  Ages: Children (6-12) with al
l levels of abilities are welcome! Sports: Ball Hockey, Socc
er & Mystery Sports We will be billeting 4 SU Coaches on
loan to us from Scripture Union Canada Venues are currently
being selected as alternate locations for inclement weather
What to expect From the moment your child arrives they&rsqu
o;re welcomed by highly trained coaches who make sure their 
day is fun and they learn something new. Don’t worry &
ndash; there are plenty of breaks throughout the day to cool
down with water and Kisko Freezies. SPORTS + GAMES Rotate b
etween different sports. In each session children learn a ne
w skill, practice it with some drills, games and scrimmages.
Campers also play a lot of games throughout the day. TEAM T
ALK Each afternoon the coaches talk to campers about what it
means to join Jesus’ Team. This includes fun activiti
es, drama, small group discussion and Bible reading. AWARDS 
+ SQUADS Campers are placed into squads at the start of each
camp. The squad completes challenges to earn squad points a
s they compete for the SU Camp Trophy. Daily ACE awards are 
also given to campers. All SU Sports staff go through genera
l inclusion and disability awareness training prepared by an
occupational therapist who designed Every Kid Can Play.&nbs
p; 1:1 volunteers and inclusion coordinators receive additio
nal training and support to best meet the needs of every chi
ld.
